We're located on the second level of the mall next to Sears in the southeast comer. Currently we have 1000's of unique items made by skilled artists from right here Locally and places all around the globe.

In 2004 we opened with three cottage industries and now in our 7th year we have grown to 53 and we get new artists calling every week. Here at Devtan we have always been committed to "Fair Trade" practices, but two years ago we also began to actively support local business and our individual artists. Almost one half of our current 53 are locals. The "Fair Trade” practices that apply to all our workers and artists insures that they receive fair compensation for their time, skills, and products. It insures that there is no exploitation except where it applies to "My" Children. We give priority to local and women-owned businesses and women-created items. This practice insures that our items are of the highest quality and always unique. You can rest assured that your purchase will help some very talented artists in addition to some very worthy causes, not to mention it helps our local economy! Along with our wonderful jewelry & gift items, you will also find a wide variety of beautiful handpicked beads, gemstones, and jewelry-making supplies. We also do jewelry repairs and we even re-string pearls! We offer free beginning beading classes where you can learn basic skills and have a beautiful and affordable new addition to your wardrobe on your first visit. We offer these classes with no time limits every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from noon until 8pm and Sat by appointment. Walk-ins are welcome but a call ahead is always appreciated and necessary for groups of three or more. We also have advanced classes available, and the fees, books and sample projects can be seen in the store. We always have fun and we know you will have a wonderful, friendly, and helpful learning experience. Many feel intimidated until they start and then the fun begins - one of our students of 2 years is completely blind and thoroughly enjoys herself! I promise you will make friends, gain skills, and complete an affordable piece of jewelry that you can wear for years with pride.

We also create custom jewelry that can be the perfect touch for a wedding, prom, or any special occasion. Bring us fabric, pictures or ??? While women have always been our main customers, men have been gift shopping and always coming back. To help in this area we have a new gift registry where women or men can list what they want, and we pull the card and show the items that have been chosen to the potential gift buyer - and it is working great!
